Dredger stent retriever stroke is a mechanical method of stroke treatment, which involves inserting a long, thin metal stent into the blood vessel and slowly advancing it to the site of the clot in the cerebral vasculature. Once the stent reaches the clot site, the doctor can expand it, thus fixing the clot onto the stent. Then, the doctor can gently remove the stent and clot together, restoring blood flow and reducing stroke damage.
DredgerTM stent retriever consists of a self-expandable thrombus capturing retriever that bonded with a flexible, tapered push wire and an introduce sheath that is supplied for guiding device into microcatheter. The retriever has a soft distal tip like a small section of guidewire to protect vascular wall from trauma. The push wire is connected to the proximal end of the retriever. Platinum alloy wire and markers are settled on the tip, body and proximal of retriever for fluoroscopic visualization. It is indicated for use in patients with AIS who have a large vessel occlusion (LVO) causing an acute neurological deficit within 6 hours of symptom onset. The device works by trapping a clot and removing it from the blocked vessel, restoring blood flow to the affected area. This procedure is known as mechanical thrombectomy and has been shown to be highly effective in the treatment of AIS.
Product Features
1. Exclusive varied cell design has higher efficiency capture by clamping the clots post integration.
2. The radial outward force is the lowest and the intimal integrity is furthest.
3. The full-length is visible, more clear than our competiters.
4. Larger push wire can enhance maneuverability.
