EVOH Liquid Embolic System is a medical device used during surgical procedures to deliver embolic agents to blood vessels that need to be closed off or blocked. The system consists of a delivery catheter and a liquid embolic agent, such as LAVA, which is a type of liquid polymer that hardens when it comes into contact with blood.
EVOH Liquid Embolic system is delivered into the blood vessels through a microcatheter and can be injected slowly and precisely to achieve optimal occlusion. The embolus remains in place permanently and promotes immediate blood flow reduction, minimizing the risk of bleeding or rupture.
