CPR-Assist is a device designed to improve the quality of resuscitation by providing real-time feedback and measurements on chest compressions during CPR. It can also help with evaluating and managing the quality of CPR by sending the data in real-time to a Nihon Kohden defibrillator and for review to a viewer program.
REAL-TIME FEEDBACK
CPR-Assist shows the depth and rate of chest compressions by LED and audio in real-time. This feature helps adjust compressions to perform higher-quality CPR in real patient cases and supports easier CPR training. This type of feedback is promoted by the International Guidelines for Resuscitation.
EVALUATION OF CPR
CPR-Assist can communicate by Bluetooth connection. For training, the real-time CPR waveform and measurement value can be shown on a computer display with viewer software. This program scores the quality of CPR to assist the trainer in making helpful evaluations for the user’s future CPR. Rescue data is stored in the CPR-Assist during CPR and the rescue data can be reviewed on a computer that has been equipped with Nihon Kohden’s report viewer software program.
MANAGEMENT OF CPR
CPR-Assist can also communicate with a Nihon Kohden defibrillator by Bluetooth connection. The real-time CPR waveform and measurement values can be shown with other parameters such as ECG, SpO2, CO2, and NIBP on the defibrillator screen. All necessary information for rescue can be confirmed on one screen by using the CPR-Assist with a Nihon Kohden defibrillator.
LIGHTWEIGHT AND PORTABLE
The CPR-Assist is lightweight and portable, with dimensions of 71(W) x 32 (H) x 126 (D) mm and a weight of 166g (without battery). It can be easily carried with any AED or defibrillator and used in different locations.
LONG BATTERY LIFE
The CPR-Assist has a battery operation time of 5 hours of continuous use. This long battery life ensures that the device can be used for extended periods without needing frequent recharging.
