Disposable PCA Pump
PP-9800 & APS series
What is PCA? It is a method in which patients self-administer painkillers through a patient-controlled analgesic device installed intravenously or epidurally whenever they feel pain. It is mainly used for childbirth, post-surgical treatment, cancer pain, chemotherapy, antibiotics therapy, etc.
Features:
PCA drugs are often mixed with drugs with different pH concentrations, which causes crystallization in the tube. Most PCA pumps currently on the market use 0.04mm inner diameter capillary tubes for product miniaturization and manufacturing convenience, which can frequently cause "tube occlusion" problems due to this crystallization.
However, AMPall disposable PCA pump uses only 0.1mm inner diameter tubes to prevent the occlusion issue.
Also it is possible to stably infuse drugs into the patient's vein or epidural subcutaneously by utilizing the pressure of high-quality medical silicone material. In addition, through the combination of the flow regulator and the bolus button, various infusion conditions including volume, basal rate, bolus and refill time can be flexibly selected according to the patient in hospitals and at home as well.
